The edges are polished using a diamond encrusted wheel and then covered with two layers of gloss ink to give a lovely, smooth finish. It's weatherproof and breathable and suitable for any climate. The leather should be cleaned with a leather cleaner and conditioner periodically to prolong the life of the collar and to keep it looking at its best.
